The owners of this 18 year old bungalow home contracted Case's Renovations to construct a new front deck area and a 12' x 24' sunroom addition at the rear of the home, accessible from the dining room and kitchen area.
The deck was supported on reversible deck blocks, was constructed using pressure treated lumber with spindles, handrail and ornamental corner pieces installed prior to solid stain being applied.
The sunroom was a 2" x 6" construction with R20 wall insulation, 2" x 10" rafters with R32 insulation in the cathedral ceiling cavity. The space has five large solid vinyl thermopane double-hung windows, a gas fireplace and pre-finished hardwood flooring.
All walls are painted gyproc with painted v-match pine ceiling with pine beams, painted colonial window trim with one and a quarter inch painted pine sills. The exterior has vinyl siding to match the existing home with a complete new asphalt roof installed, soffit and fascia completed and 5" seamless eavestrough installed at completion.
The small addition is certainly one of the finest completed by our company. The design, materials used, and choice of colors and textures by the owner was a winning combination.
